In July of 2024, Ripley made a memorable trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Emily’s birthday. The scorching heat was palpable, with temperatures soaring to a sweltering 120 degrees, leaving us feeling like we were melting under the relentless sun.
Despite the intense heat, Ripley found joy in the vibrant energy of the city, mesmerized by the dazzling lights that illuminated the Strip. One of the highlights of his stay was watching the enchanting Bellagio Fountains from the comfort of our hotel room at the Jockey Club, where the synchronized water shows, set to music, created a breathtaking spectacle. After experiencing the long drive to get there, Ripley suggested that for our next getaway, we should consider flying instead to save time and make the journey more convenient.
